ISTANBUL - The hearing of the case against the attorneys of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan has been postponed.
The 22nd hearing of the case opened after the operation carried out under the name of "KCK" on November 22, 2011 against 50 people, including 46 attorneys of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, was held at the Istanbul 19th High Criminal Court in Çağlayan.
Attorneys Asya Ülker, Rezan Sarıca, Mahmut Taşçı and Mazlum Dinç were present at the hearing of the lawsuit filed with the allegation of "being a member of a terrorist organisation" and "managing a terrorist organisation". The attorneys who took the floor at the hearing demanded the rectification of deficiencies in the file.
Announcing its interim decision, the court decided to wait for the finalisation of the cases heard at the Istanbul 23rd Heavy Penal Court and the Ankara 4th Heavy Penal Court with similar allegations and postponed the hearing to January 24.
