HAKKARI - The military blockade in Zêvkan village of Yüksekova, where 6 members of the same family were detained, has been going on for 10 hours.

 

The village of Zêvkan in Hakkari's Yüksekova district was blockaded by the soldiers early in the morning. Soldiers raided some houses and detained 6 members of the same family. Those detained were taken to the District Gendarmerie Command. It was learned that there was a restriction decision in the file and a 24-hour lawyer ban was imposed.

 

THE BLOCKADE CONTINUES

 

The blockade in the village has been going on for more than 10 hours. It was learned that the soldiers told the villagers: "We will stay here until further notice. Do not give us any trouble." Citizens stated that many soldiers were sent to the village and construction equipment was brought.
