A fire broke out in the forest area in the region as a result of the soldiers who went on the operation on August 28 in the countryside of Marînûs village of Hakkari and the surrounding area with heavy weapons from the military bases on the dominant hills. Hakkari Forest Directorate and Hakkari Municipality, which is under the management of trustees, do not intervene in the fire that has been going on for 3 days.
It was stated that citizens who wanted to go to the region to put out the fire also faced the obstacles of the soldiers.
PREVIOUS FIRE LASTED IN 15 DAYS
A fire broke out in the same area as a result of the fire opened by the soldiers on August 12 and lasted for 15 days. A large area turned to ash in the fire, which did not intervene and spread to the slopes of Kutos village and the Shinê Mountain region.
