NEWS CENTER - It has been reported that Turkey and KDP forces launched an attack on a group of HPG members near the Xelifan town of Hewler's Soran district.

 

While Turkey's attacks against Zap, Avaşîn and Metina in the Federated Kurdistan Region in partnership with the KDP continue, RojNews reported based on local sources that a group of HPG members near the Xelifan town of Soran district of Hewler were first attacked with a drone. Later, it was stated that the KDP forces in the region supported the airstrike from the ground.

 

Stating that there was a clash in the region, local sources said that 2 HPG members lost their lives in the KDP attack in Xelifan, and 3 HPG members were injured and detained.

 

KDP had ambushed two HPG groups in the same region before and 9 HPG members lost their lives. Despite the persistent efforts of the families, the KDP did not deliver the remains of the HPG members.
