NEWS CENTER - It has been stated that 3 HPG members lost their lives and 2 HPG members were detained by the KDP in the attack carried out in Xelîfan on September 5 in partnership with the AKP-KDP.

 

The extensive attacks launched on the Federated Kurdistan Region on April 17, in partnership with the AKP-KDP, continue. In addition to chemical and tactical nuclear weapons attacks against Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions, drone attacks continue. The last attack was carried out against HPG members in the Xelîfan region of Hewler's Soran district on September 5. According to the Fırat News Agency (ANF), 3 HPG soldiers lost their lives and 2 HPG members were injured in the drone attack. HPG Press Center (BİM) made a statement regarding the attack and stated that the attack took place in the Balisan Valley near the village of Tarava.

 

KDP DETAINED THE WOUNDED HPG MEMBERS

 

In the statement about Rêzan Botan, Armanc Zilan, Karo Kobanê, Aşikar Colemêrg and Zanyar Tavê in the HPG group, the following was noted: "It was learned that KDP forces intervened the scene right after the attack and took our wounded friends away. It is not known to us at the moment which of our friends from this group are martyrs and which ones are injured.The fact that a reconnaissance plane suddenly came and hit a group walking in the field at night in a place which is not a hot war zone, shows that our friends were being followed by a highly organised intelligence system. It also draws attention that the villagers heard gunshots while KDP forces were approaching to the area."

 

CALL TO THE KDP 

 

In the statement, which stated that the attack should be investigated, the followings were noted: "This incident must be investigated. The statements of our wounded friends will shed a light on the incident. Therefore, we expect the KDP to release our friends detained by their forces back to us."
