The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) made a statement regarding the operation launched in the Hol Camp. In the statement, it was stated that there was a clash with ISIS members and 2 SDF members lost their lives.
The statement said, "Last night, in the 5th section of the Hol Camp, two of our fighters, who were seriously injured as a result of the clash with the armed ISIS members wearing women's clothes, lost their lives. The ISIS cell, consisting of 7 people, 2 of whom are women, tried to escape from the camp. The Internal Security Forces intervened with the support of our forces. The surrounded terrorist cell opened fire on our forces. Clashes broke out over the response of our forces within the framework of self-defense. While one of the ISIS members wearing women's clothes was killed in the conflict, 6 ISIS members, 2 of whom are women, were caught. Two AK-47 guns and a suicide bomber vest were seized. Our forces state once again that they will provide the necessary support to the Internal Security Forces in the Humanitarian and Security Operation until the aim of the operation is achieved and the camp residents are freed from the terror of ISIS cells.
