ŞIRNAK - Tons of wood transported to the side of the road in Navyan village of Sirnak, revealed the extent of deforestation in the city.
Deforestation continues in Şırnak by the rangers for "security" reasons. Hundreds of trees are cut down every day in Cudi Mountain, Besta region and Navyan village on the way to Siirt. Trees cut down in the Navyan village countryside are transported to the roadside by tractors. The newly taken photograph of the wood sold in cities such as Urfa and Antep revealed the extent of the deforestation. The photograph shows tons of wood laying on both sides of the road beside the vehicles belonging to the rangers.
