NEWS CENTER - ​​​​​​​SDF Press Liaison Center Officer Ferhad Shami stated that the operation launched against ISIS in the Hol Camp will continue until its goals are achieved.

 

The second phase of the Humanitarian and Security Campaign, which was launched with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), YPG/YPJ, under the leadership of the Internal Security Forces, continues on the 21st day in Northern and Eastern Syria. SDF Press Liaison Center Officer Ferhad Shami made assessments to the Hawar News Agency (ANHA) regarding the stage of the Humanitarian and Security Action.

 

Stating that it is still early to determine the outcome of the operation launched to destroy ISIS cells in the Hol Camp, Shami stated that the operation continues according to plan and will continue until the desired goal. Stating that the operation weakened the capacity of ISIS cells in the camp and reduced the influence of “Al Hesbe” women on the camp residents, Shami said, “But we need to root them out. This task falls to the international community, which is expected to solve the problems of the citizens in the camp."
