İZMİR - The remains of HPG member Mahsum Özer, who lost his life as a result of an airstrike in Dersim, was delivered to his family 7 years later and laid to rest.
The remains of HPG member Mahsum Özer, who died as a result of an air attack in Dersim in 2015, was released to his family 7 years later. The Özer family was called yesterday by the Prosecutor's Office and informed that they could receive their remains. The family received the remains today from the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) with the slogan of "Martyr can not die".
HDP MPs Murat Çepni, Musa Piroğlu, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organisations as well as many citizens attended the funeral ceremony of Özer.

HDP MPs Murat Çepni, Musa Piroğlu, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organisations as well as many citizens attended the funeral ceremony in Doğançay Cemetery in Bayraklı district. Özer's remains was laid to rest with the slogan of "Martyr can not die" after religious obligations were fulfilled.
The Özer family will accept their condolences at their home in Bayraklı district.
