SIRNAK - The historical building allocated to AKP's Hatice Atan, known as Tayyip Erdogan's "adopted daughter" during the former trustee of Cizre, is used as a guest house where party members are hosted.

 

The trustee appointed to the Cizre Municipality of Şırnak on November 17, 2016, located the historical municipality property in Kale Mahallesi to guest house , the Birca Belek Culture, Art and Development Association, chaired by the then AKP Women's Branch President Hatice Atan, known as the "adopted daughter" of AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan.

 

After the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) won the municipality in 2019, Atan was asked to vacate the historical building. Atan did not take into account the notification sent by the municipality and did not vacate the real estate. Atan is currently using the historical real estate that she has not vacated as a guest house where she welcomes party members.

The historical building, which is forbidden to the public, can only be opened upon the request of Atan. In addition to the activities of the association, Atan hosts AKP MPs from outside, women from the party and association presidents who are known for their closeness to the AKP.
