URFA - Maintaining the sit-in, Emine Şenyaşar asked Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, who came to the city for the Suruç Pomegranate Festival, "Why don't you find the footage of my family being murdered?"
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 567. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.
The family came to the front of the Urfa Courthouse from their house in Suruç early in the morning and started the sit-in on the stairs. The family, who started the sit-in with Ali Oruç's book "Justice" in which Emine Şenyaşar's struggle is about, and a banner with "Justice" written next to it, continues to inform those who visit them about the massacre.
Reacting to Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu's participation in the Suruç Pomegranate Festival with AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, Emine Şenyaşar asked: "Why don't you find the footage of them killing my family? Where are our images? How is a family murdered in a hospital? We had no fault. How do you get along with those who do this?”
