ANKARA - A delegation from HDP is going to Bartın, where the mining disaster took place, from Ankara and Istanbul.
40 miners lost their lives in the mining disaster in the Amasra district of Bartın. A delegation consisting of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chairs and Central Executive Board (MYK) members departed for Amasra.
The HDP delegation included Deputy Chairperson Şaziye Köse, Rıdvan Turan and Party Council (PM) member Hüseyin Taka and Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) Member Zeki Tonbak. While Co-Chairperson Turan and PM Member Hüseyin Taka set off from Ankara, Co-Chairperson Şaziye Köse and Zeki Tonbak set off from Istanbul for Bartın.
Members of the delegation will visit the families of those who lost their lives and the injured who were taken to the hospital, making investigations at the site of the mining disaster.
