ANKARA - 8 TJA activists brought to Ankara Courthouse within the scope of Ankara-based investigation were arrested, 13 women were released under house arrest.
20 women, who were detained in the house raids on November 29 in Amed, Istanbul, İzmir, Muş, Agirî, Dilok and Sêrt within the scope of the Ankara-based investigation, were brought to the Ankara Courthouse today, after the statement proceedings were completed 4 days later at the Ankara Police Department. The deposition proceedings, which started by 12 prosecutors appointed by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were completed 11 hours later.
8 WOMEN WERE ARRESTED
Figen Aras, Figen Ekti, Mekiye Ormancı, Didar Çeşme, Bedia Akkaya, Hatice Güngör, Hülya Kınağu and Gülistan Dehşet, who were referred to the court after their statements were taken by the Prosecutor's Office on charges of "directing a terrorist organisation" and "acting on behalf of a terrorist organisation", were arrested.
HOUSE ARREST FOR 13 WOMEN
Yeliz Ayyıldız Kıyak, Hülya Taşar, Zekiye Güler, Sultan Esen, Meral Şimşek, Zeynep Boğa, D.A., Merve Tekin Demirel, Hazal Aras, Aysel Ceylan, Beritan Canyaş, Tamcihan Çelebi who were referred to the court and Hatice Ay, who was connected to Amed via Audio and Visual İnformation System (SEGBİS), was released on the condition of house arrest.
