NEWS CENTER- Education was suspended in 16 schools in Northern and Eastern Syria, which were destroyed by Turkey's attacks.
On the 20th of last November, with the start of Turkish warplanes and drone attacks on NE, Syria, the Education Body in the Euphrates region was forced to suspend work in 19 schools out of 461 schools in Kobani canton located in the areas of contact with the Turkish army.
With the continuation of the Turkish attacks on North East Syria, students in those schools are still deprived of their right to education.
In addition to the school of the village of Goran, east of the city of Kobani, which was completely destroyed by the Turkish occupation army during the recent attacks, the Education Body in the Euphrates region mentioned the names of 15 other schools.
The Education Body in the Euphrates region does not currently have alternatives to compensate students who are deprived of studies, and it has not yet set a date for the return of suspended school hours, according to the co-chair of the Education Body in the Euphrates region, Bakr Jarada.
