URFA- Stating that the stage of our sit-in will be the different places of Turkey until justice is provided, the Şenyaşar family said: "We will attend conferences and panels in different cities of Turkey."
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 647. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar, holding the banner with the words "Justice" in their hands, continued their sit-in in front of the door entering the courthouse.
'WE WILL NOT GIVE UP OUR STRUGGLE'
Underlining that until justice is provided, the stage of their sit-in will be the different places of Turkey, Şenyaşar family said: "They will voice this cruelty in different cities of Turkey. We will attend conferences and panels in different parts of Turkey. The biggest example of human rights violations is the Urfa Courthouse. This unlawfulness continues. We are determined in our struggle, we are right. All bar associations, especially the TBB(Union of Turkish Bar Associations), have embraced our cause. All legal organizations will offer their support. We draw our strength from right and defense. We will not give up our struggle until justice is achieved."
