DİYARBAKIR - The people of Amed, condemned the dismissal of HDP's Semra Güzel and stated that they condemned the anti-democratic oppressive regime against their will and expressed that they would stand up for the will of the Kurdish people.
Voters who shared their feelings and thoughts about Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MP Semra Güzel, who was stripped by the votes of AKP, MHP and IYI Party MPs yesterday, stated that the will of the Kurdish people has been usurped and they are suppressed from the oppressive and racist regime.
'WE WILL DEFEND SEMRA GÜZEL'
Stating that everything is expected in a period when the understanding of administration becomes fascist, Mustafa Özgüvercin said: "Semra Güzel is a MP with the votes of the people and that no one has the right to ignore the will of the people. It is unfair to subject the MPs elected by the people to detention and arrest. The end of the AKP-MHP government, which made these decisions, is now very near. We will give a very good answer to the government at the ballot box. As soon as the election comes, we will eliminate these mentalities. The only thing fascist mentalities do is attack, which is the best thing they do. Our attorney has no right to strip her attorneyship. Semra Güzel was chosen to defend our rights, and we will do everything we can to defend her rights.”
'THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE WAS USED'
Pointing out that the will of the Kurdish people is constantly being usurped, Rojhat Çetin said: "It is actually the will of the imprisoned Kurd, not the politicians who are currently under arrest. The silence should be broken for the health of the society and the peoples. Turkish People remain unconscious in the face of the state's war policies. In such processes, the people must fulfill their responsibilities. We were exposed to many policies of the invaders. Our MPs were arrested, trustees were appointed to our municipalities. Nobody made a sound. Trustees appointed to those municipalities were appointed to the will of the Kurdish people. If the peoples are united, we will be stronger.”
'WE CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE'
Explaining that even if the government MPs and politicians are arrested, the people who voted for those MPs will stand behind them, Cahit Üçgül concluded: “No matter how much pressure they put on us. We will make our voice heard to the world. Whatever the result of torture, prison and oppression, we will stand behind the MP Semra Güzel and defend our will. We will defend those who defend our rights. We will continue our fight.”
'WE WILL END THE GOVERNMENT'
Expressing that the election against this anti-democratic policy will be good for everyone, Hüseyin Can said: “It is an usurpation of our will, ignoring it. Our party is clear. We will put an end to these tricks of the government on election day."
