'ISOLATION SHOULD BE LIFTED'
Emphasizing that there is a heavy isolation on Abdullah Öcalan, Sultan Acar said: “A heavy isolation has been imposed on Öcalan for about 22 months. The Kurdish people are uneasy about this isolation. This isolation is being applied to all Kurdish people together with the leadership. It applies to all prisoners. We want a meeting with him. Öcalan should be met with his lawyer and his family, and learnt this information about his health. We Kurds are worried for his health. The CPT says he's going to visit, but has made a statement. We are waiting for news from him in less than a day. Öcalan is very effective for peace in the Middle East. We don't want anyone's child to die anymore. We want the isolation to be lifted immediately."
‘WE WILL RESIST FOR OUR LEADER’
Condemning the isolation on Abdullah Öcalan, Gül Baykal said: “We also condemn the incident in Paris. All Kurds must be united against these attacks. If Öcalan emerges, peace will come. We demanded that Öcalan and all political prisoners be released.”
Condemning to the persecution of Abdullah Öcalan for years, Hafize Yıldırım said: “We came to the fields today for our leadership. Until the end of life, we will fight for our leader, for our land, for our friends in the dungeon. If Öcalan comes out, peace will come. We will win.”
Esmer Aktaş said: "We want peace and freedom," and added, "We want our leader to be free. If he is free, we will see peace and freedom. Despite all these attacks, the Kurds will succeed and win."
'WE WILL DO WHATEVER NEEDED FOR HIS FREEDOM'
Stating that the isolation on Abdullah Öcalan was applied to all Kurdish people, Mustafa Acar said: “As the Kurdish people, we are uncomfortable with this isolation and we are against it to the end. Although the Turkish state sees Öcalan as a 'terrorist', he is a leader for us and will continue to be a leader. As the Kurdish people, we will continue to defend our freedom. We sacrificed our lives on this road. We sacrificed our souls in the mountains, in the cities, in the streets. After that, we will do whatever is necessary. It is important to break the isolation, but the Kurdish people cannot break it alone.”
