URFA-Drawing attention to the hearing to be held on January 17 regarding the attack carried out in the hospital, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "The massacre of MP Yıldız and his family was clearly explained in the statements."
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 667. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Mother Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar came to the courthouse and staged the sit-in.
Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who came to the courthouse from their house in Suruç district, started the protest in front of the "Justice" banner they opened.
Speaking at the sit-in and stating that his actions continued on the 674th day despite all the obstacles and pressures, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "We want justice. We said that if seeking justice is a crime, they should arrest us too.'
Reminding that the first hearing of the case against the attack at the hospital will be held in Meletî on January 17, Şenyaşar said: "It is the MPs and relatives of the ruling party who committed the massacre. Everyone knows very well that the camera footage inside the hospital is in the archive of the security camera in the hospital, even though it is not there now. There is the statement of the police chief. There are the statements of health workers and doctors. In their statements, the MP Yıldız and his family openly explained what kind of massacre they committed. While we were on duty, both legal organizations and bar associations offered their endless support to us. A lawsuit was filed after the public opinion formed. We want a fair trial and a decision that will ease the conscience of the society."
