URFA - The sit-in of Şenyaşar family continues on its 688th day.
The sit-in carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 688. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar, who set out from their homes in Suruç early in the morning, came to the courthouse and opened the banner with the words "Justice" and staged the sit-in.
The family tagged the Governor of Urfa Salih Ayhan and shared the following message on Twitter: "Our sit-in continues on the 688th day in the tourism capital of the Islamic world. Governor Salih Ayhan is meeting with the citizens. Our request for a meeting is still on his desk. The governor should solve the problems of every person."
