ANKARA - HDP established a Crisis Coordination Center for studies to be carried out in earthquake zones. Co-Chairs Pervin Buldan will be in Diyarbakır and Mithat Sancar will be Adana.
The earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 in Maraş and 6.4 in Gaziantep also caused damage and deaths in the surrounding cities of Diyarbakır, Urfa, Malatya, Osmaniye, Mardîn, Adana, Hatay and Adıyaman. The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) established a Crisis Coordination Center for the activities to be carried out in earthquake areas. All of the work to be carried out will be coordinated from the Headquarters.
CO-CHAIRSPERSONS WILL BE IN DİYARBAKIR AND ADANA
It was stated that the Gemlik march, which was planned to be started today from the Yüksekova district of Hakkari and Kızıltepe district of Mardîn's Qoser with the slogan "We are marching to İmralı for a solution" in order to end the isolation against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, has been postponed, while HDP delegations in these regions have been directed to earthquake zones. It was announced that a delegation led by President Pervin Buldan will participate in the work in Diyarbakır, and the other Co-Chairperson Mithat Sancar will participate in the work in Adana. It was noted that HDP provincial and district administrators started working on shelter, aid, subsistence, search and rescue.
