MARAŞ- Although it has been a long time since the earthquake in Sergolan district, for the first time a team started search and rescue work in a heavily damaged structure.
The Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman, which is 43 kilometers away from the Pazarcık district of Mereş, was destroyed by the earthquake. Deep cracks occurred in the main street and other roads of the city. These rifts caused further damage to the structures in the city. All buildings and workplaces in the city were severely damaged. After the aftershocks, dozens of houses were destroyed. Due to the heavy destruction, all of the families spent the night outside. Families with the means slept in their cars, while those without the means slept by the fires they lit.
PUBLIC SPENT THE NIGHT OUT
It has been learned that at least 9 people are still under the rubble in the 4-storey building on Gaziosmanpaşa Street in Fatih District. The families stated that the search efforts were not started even though more than 30 hours had passed. Many houses were destroyed and damaged in the Karaburun and Balkar towns of Gölbaşı district due to the earthquake. Most of the citizens here spent the night outside.
