The death toll in the earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitudes affecting 10 provinces centered in Mereş Bazarcix (Pazarcık) district has climbed to 6 thousand. There are still thousands of people under the rubble in Maraş, Gaziantep, Malatya, Adana, Urfa, Diyarbakır, Kilis, Osmaniye, Adana and Hatay, which were declared state of emergency(OHAL) regions for 3 months. There are still inaccessible places in the earthquake region, where rescue teams are insufficient. The people spent the night on the street in the earthquake area reported by our reporters. During the night, aftershocks never stopped.

The earthquake survivors, who could not find a shelter and tent, live on the streets at minus 5 degrees Celsius, in the Pazarcık district of Maraş, the epicenter of the earthquake. Some continue to wait around a fire, some in a truck bed, some in a vehicle without fuel, and some right next to the destroyed buildings where their relatives are buried under the rubble. Families who spent the night on the street say that they could not get their bodies out of the rubble.
