ADIYAMAN- Having given up hope on the state, the people of Adıyaman started to set up their tents together with the volunteers.
Humanitarian aid to Adıyaman, where search and rescue efforts started late, has not yet reached the desired level. In the city, where aid arrives late and search and rescue efforts progress slowly, citizens are bandaging their wounds by giving up hope from the state. Citizens who were left on the street started to set up tents with the help of volunteers from different cities because they lost their hope from the state.
'WE DID NOT HAVE THE TENT OF STATE'
Kadriye Çelik (66), one of the earthquake survivors who tried to set up a tent in front of her house, said: "We could not get the necessary support. We applied to official institutions to buy tents, but we still could not get them even after 6 days. We don't get tents from the state."
