URFA - Speaking on the 701th day of the sit-in, Ferit Şenyaşar asked: "As long as this injustice continues, who will come to Urfa and demand votes from the people?"
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 701. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.
The Şenyaşar family, who took a break for 15 days due to the earthquake, came to the courthouse yesterday and started their protests again. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who came in front of the Urfa Courthouse on the 701st day of the Justice Watch, started the sit-in in front of the banner that reads "Justice" on the top of which the names of 10 cities affected by the earthquake were written.
WHO WILL DEMAND FOR VOTES FOR VOTES?
Emphasizing that another reason for earthquakes is injustice, Ferit Şenyaşar said: “There are both scientific and religious reasons for earthquakes to occur. According to our belief, the reason for the increase in earthquakes is injustice. All of Turkey sees this injustice. The next day, all the MPs will go down to the squares. As long as this injustice continues, who will come to Urfa and demand votes from the people? The government that runs the country takes a notebook and keeps notes. We are calling out to the government from here, they should note us in that notebook."
