HATAY - Countless people who are ashamed of their children, angry with their state, angry with themselves and who think that the dead are saved are losing hope. No more than that…
Adnan Dagli (43) is a Turk who is deeply devoted to his homeland, nation and state! Now, he asks, "What kind of Republic of Turkey is it?". The state that he paid his taxes, did his military service, and fulfilled his every wish without objection was not with him in the difficult day and he got out of the wreckage after 5 hours with his own effort. He was alone and waited in the rain and cold for his state, but it did not come for help. The state, who did not come for days, asked his identity while he was taking his disabled child to the hospital. In order to prove his identity to the state for which he gave his life, he must show a first-degree relative, the name of his grandmother and three neighbors as witnesses. He must find his identity and show it the state, and then he can go to withdraw 10 thousand TL in Adana, which he does not know whether it is deposited in his bank account.
MISERABLE FATHER
What really agonized Dağlı was that he couldn't do anything for his 10-month-old disabled baby. He is suffering from being a helpless, embarrassed, miserable and defeated father to his child who will see him as a hero, god, strong, unique and perfect in the future. Like thousands of “patriots” who forget that they are an ant in the tide of nationalist delusions and behave like elephants but are disappointed at the first confrontation, Dagli voices his objection with loud, flattering words: “For days, I begged for my child door to door.”
STATE DIDN'T GIVE TENT TO TOPRAK BECAUSE OF BEING ALONE
Another earthquake victim, Delal Toprak (56) who is wanted to be removed in Sevgi Park, is also wandering around with disappointment. His face is dull, shy, his eyes are full of tears, but he refuses to cry, Toprak asks the state that came to raise his tent: “Now they are firing us. Is a man expelled from his homeland?"
He's trying to make his voice heard through a hole in his throat. He is trying to explain that he is 90 percent disabled, that he has lost his wife and relatives, that he is alone and homeless, with gestures. A state of the city equalized in pain, poverty. Toprak said: “I am disabled, the state said they couldn't give me a tent because I was alone. I've been sleeping in the car for 25 days and getting up. No shower, no toilet, no water, no food.”
