URFA- Continuing the sit-in, the Şenyaşar family said: “It has been 743 days at the Urfa Courthouse gate. Wake up Türkiye, wake up Urfa people!"

 

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached 743. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.

 

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who came to the Urfa Courthouse from their house in the Pirsûs district of Urfa, started the sit-in in front of the banner "Justice for the Şenyaşar family".

 

The Şenyaşar family shared the following message on their Twitter account:  “When you witness injustice and do not take action, you lose your ability to defend after a while. It has been 743 days at the gate of Urfa Courthouse. Wake up Türkiye, wake up people of Urfa!”
