7 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS PRISON SENTENCE
The prosecutor repeated his previous opinion and demanded a penalty for "being a member of a terrorist organization". The court, which made its decision after the defense, sentenced Şiban to 6 years. The reason for the decision was "the way the crime was committed, the time and place where the crime was committed, the intensity of the criminal intent, the severity of the harm and danger that occurred".
The court then increased the sentence, commuting it to 9 years in prison. The court then reduced the sentence to 7 years and 6 months. In the decision, it was stated that the foreign travel ban will continue. Lawyers will appeal the decision.
