NEWS CENTER - AKP Ankara MP Ali İhsan (Mucahit) Arslan filed a criminal complaint against Ali Yeşildağ, who made allegations of corruption in tenders in the videos he shared on social media.
President Tayyip Erdogan's bodyguard during his prison years, Hasan Yeşildağ, the boss of the Turkish Media Group, and Ali Yeşildağ, the brother of Zeki Yeşildağ, had recently made statements regarding the corruption of the AKP.
AKP Ankara MP Ali İhsan (Mucahit) Arslan filed a criminal complaint against Ali Yeşildağ, who made allegations of corruption in tenders in the videos he shared on social media. In the criminal complaint that Arslan made to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on May 8, 2023, it was learned that Yeşildağ, who is on the run, requested that he be tried on charges of slander and threat under the Turkish Penal Code.
In the petition he submitted to the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor through his lawyer, Arslan described the allegations in the video of Ali Yeşildağ, which was served by Cevheri Güven, who is wanted with a final 22-year prison sentence and who is the "media religious of FETO", as "completely fictitious".
REQUEST FOR PRISON SENTENCE
In the criminal complaint, in which it was emphasized that Arslan was exposed to slander and threats, a request was made to "initiate an investigation" and "open public cases" against Yeşildağ regarding the aforementioned crimes.
In the petition, it was requested that Yeşildağ be sentenced to "imprisonment from one year to four years" for defamation in accordance with Article 267 of the Turkish Penal Code, and to "imprisonment from six years to two years" in accordance with Article 106 for the threat.
Ali Yeşildağ claimed that they disabled Çelebi Holding by "stealing documents" from its file in the 2007 Antalya Airport operation tender, that Erdoğan received 1 billion dollars for this tender, and that Ali İhsan Arslan was also involved in this process.
