ANKARA - The statement of journalist Fırat Can Arslan, who has been detained in Kırşehir for 3 days, has still not been taken on the grounds that "digital materials are being examined".

 

The statement of Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reporter Fırat Can Arslan, who was detained in the raid on his house in Ankara on June 7 as part of the investigation launched in Kırşehir, has still not been taken. His lawyers, who met with Arslan, who is being held at the Kırşehir Police Department, stated that Arslan's statement was still not taken on the grounds that "digital materials were examined", and that they were waiting for Arslan's statement to be taken in the evening.

 

Arslan is expected to be referred to the courthouse tomorrow after his statement.
