Bayındır: Türkiye's politics are deadlocked, the solution is Öcalan

DİYARBAKIR - Stating that the election results revealed the "locked codes of Turkish politics"  DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır said: "The Solution is the ideas and thoughts of Öcalan."

After the Presidential and General Elections, the People's Democratic Party (HDP), whose tactics and strategy were criticized, entered a new organizational process together with the Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party), from which it entered the election list. The HDP and Green Left Party, which held meetings with their boards, components and alliance parties based on the election results, started public meetings and meetings as of June 17. The process of criticism and self-criticism will be completed with the Grand Congress, with the final decision of the people as a result of the discussions to be carried out.

Keskin Bayındır, Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), the biggest component of HDP, and Green Left Party MP from Êlih, answered questions about the deficiencies in the election tactics and strategy, the failure to implement the Third Way policy and the politics of the new period.

Stating that an election process is being carried out, which is antidemocratic in every aspect, DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır said: "All the means of oppression and extortion and by using all the means of the state. Despite all the pressures of the AKP, it did not receive approval from the Kurds in the elections."

Emphasizing that they aim to put the people in the center in Kurdistan and Turkey and to make the dynamic power of the people the main subject of this political struggle, Bayındır said the following about the Imrali isolation system, which the AKP has made a policy: “If the ideas and thoughts of Mr. Öcalan is brought to the public, Turkey will wake up to a social day that has embarked on a completely different solution path, discussed the solution issues, and to overcome its problems in this regard. The negative consequences of this will not only be experienced by the Kurdish people's struggle for democracy and freedom. Everyone who seeks democracy will continue to live.”

PRESSURE ON THE ELECTION

Stating that after the election results were announced, Bayındır said: "it is obvious that we, as DBP, could not achieve the results we aimed for in Kurdistan. There are some discussions about the reasons and causes of these. Of course, we, as the peoples who are fighting for freedom, do not analyze the gains, success and failure of our struggle on the basis of the election results. The results of an election carried out by the AKP-MHP government with all the means of the state are in question. The results of AKP-MHP have no legitimacy for us because an election process was carried out in which our work was hindered by all aspects of anti-democratic methods of oppression and extortion and by using all the means of the state."

KURDISH PEOPLE REJECTED THE AKP-MHP REGIME

Stating that they foresee that the AKP-MHP government will maintain its power again with the election results, Bayındır said: "The special war policies against the Kurdish people may result in much more intense attacks, repression and violence. Despite all the rescue operations, the 21-year AKP-MHP government has not received approval from 50 percent of the society, especially the Kurdish people. A strong will emerged that the Kurdish people rejected and did not accept the AKP-MHP regime. Of course, there will be very comprehensive discussions and plans that we will carry out with the people to strengthen this will and fight, especially to bring the struggle for rights and freedom to stronger levels. Perhaps this will be one of the most important points that we should give our self-criticism in the coming period."

'WE WILL FIGHT THIS TOGETHER WITH OUR PEOPLE'

In the coming period, they will take the people, the mass and strong participation of the people in the struggle as the center of the main planning, Bayındır said: "The Republic of Turkey will want to maintain itself with updated denial codes in its second century as well; therefore, the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom, the right to education in their mother tongue, their demands for political status and the need for a democratic constitution are waiting for us for a period of struggle in which the Kurds can secure all their rights stemming from being a people. In the second century, rather than a rigid, centralized, authoritarian administrative system, we aim for a style of struggle that brings into question the political status of Kurdistan. We will bring the political status demands of our people on this issue to the forefront and we will fight this together with our people. We have never neglected this struggle until today. When we bring together the level of pressure of the AKP-MHP government and the immense resistance of the Kurdish people on this issue, the indications that we have not put forward a practical policy that corresponds to the struggle of these people have emerged in many dimensions. By drawing conclusions from this, we will transform the upcoming process into a much stronger political struggle based on basic principles."

THE THIRD WAY

Drawing attention to the Third Way, Bayındır said: "While one side of Turkish politics represents the nationalist-nationalist wing, the other side represents a conservative-nationalist, Turkish wing. The people of Türkiye are almost caught in a vice, and they want to make this political mistake. The Third Way offers a new life option to the Kurdish people, the peoples of Turkey and all oppressed segments. HDP is its political-political idea. However, we can clearly state that it could not bring the Third Way together with the society, both with its components, its alliances and the political-political struggle it waged. When the society is almost divided into two poles and is trying to be crushed between two powers, a period awaits us when we can hold on to the Third Way line, with those who want democracy and freedom, and spread their political struggle to all the peoples of Turkey more strongly. It is on our shoulders to be able to make a statement, to carry out the action and to carry the Third Way line, political thought to all parts of Turkey. We will see our shortcomings in this matter, overcome its inadequacies in practical politics very quickly, and we will do our best to create the idea, thought and life system of the Third Way in political and political politics."

THE IDEAS AND THOUGHTS OF ÖCALAN

Stating that they saw this especially in the 2013-15 period, Bayındır said: "The realities that offer solution proposals and solution perspectives that go beyond the stalemate, deadlock and social polarization in Turkey lie in the ideas and assessments put forward by Mr. Öcalan. To date, apart from Mr. Öcalan, no alternative option has emerged in terms of developing solutions, proposing solutions, both in terms of Turkey and regional developments. This doesn't seem possible either. The solution is the ideas and the thoughts of Öcalan. All searches other than this deepen violence, oppression and denial, and stay away from revealing any solution roadmap. In such a period, in a process where the society is at the bottom of its political and economic collapse, the only solution for this is that Mr. Öcalan's thoughts on Turkish society, the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom, and this crisis and chaos of the Turkish peoples must meet with the public very quickly. If Mr. Öcalan's ideas and thoughts are brought together and shared with the public, the next day, Turkey will take a much more completely different path of solution, discuss the solution issues and wake up to a social day aimed at overcoming its problems. The negative consequences of this will not only be experienced by the Kurdish people's struggle for democracy and freedom. Everyone in search of democracy in Turkey will continue to live. In this sense, a very strong social struggle must emerge to break the Imrali isolation system."
