Dağ and Er's hunger strike is on its 61st day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike of Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who are imprisoned in Hewler Prison, continues on its 61st day.
 
Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who were arrested in the Federated Kurdistan Region in 2019, continue their hunger strike, demanding an end to arbitrary searches, physical violence, insults and the imposition of uniforms. The two prisoners held in Hewler Prison have been on hunger strike since May 18 and their health condition is deteriorating.
 
Dağ and Er were arrested in the Federated Kurdistan Region on July 17, 2019 for allegedly attacking Turkish diplomat Osman Köse and Iraqi citizens Neriman Osman and Beşdar Ramazan at the Turkish Consulate General in Hewler.

The families of Dağ and Er went to Hewler yesterday to inquire about the fate of their children. Families visited Hewler Independent Human Rights Board.
