Forest areas in Xîzan been bombed for days

BİTLİS - 4 days have passed since Xûlepûr and Kekulan villages of Xîzan district of Bedlis were declared as "Special Security Zones" for 15 days. Citizens stated that the area has been bombed for days.
 
Operations continued after Xûlepûr and Kekulan villages of Xîzan (Hizan) district of Bedlis were declared as "Special Security Zones" for 15 days. Citizens, who gave information about the events in the region, stated that on July 14, in the middle of the day, the surrounding of the village was bombed with an Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SİHA). Citizens stated that the bombing started around 11:00 on Friday, and that mortar shells were fired from the same area by helicopter from 12:00 to 16:00, and from military points from 16:00 to night hours.
 
THE REGION IS CONTINUOUSLY BOMBED
 
Citizens, who gave information about what happened, said: “We called the military when we heard the sounds of bombs. They also said that the bombed area was about 300 meters away from the village. But when we look at the incoming sounds, we think that it is much closer. Our house shakes when the bomb goes off. As all villagers, we are afraid because sometimes they throw it so close that it scares even the sound. When we go to our field at dawn, we see the bombed places,” he sa
 
ALLEGED OPERATIONS TO CONTINUE UNTIL JULY 28
 
Stating that the cultivated products in the fields of the villagers and the trees in the forest area were cut down within the scope of the operation, the villagers said that there is a distance of one kilometer between the asphalt road and the village, that the soldiers made a road from here, that the width of this road should normally be 3 meters, but 10 each from both the right and left of the road and that trees with a width of meters were cut down.
 
Citing the information they obtained from the soldiers in the village, the citizens said that the soldiers informed them that the "Special Security Zone" decision would last until July 28.
