PAJK and PKK Prisoners in prisons made a statement on the attacks on North and East Syria. Making a statement on behalf of the prisoenrs, Deniz Kaya stated that North and East Syria has turned into a torch of freedom for the peoples of the Middle East within the scope of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's philosophy of freedom and inspired those in search of alternative life. 

 

In the statement published in Fırat News Agency (ANF), it was stated that the Rojava Revolution is the crown of victory of 40 years of struggle and added: "The Rojava Revolution, which has the claim and determination to solve the unsolvable freedom problem of humanity, has been the victory of all oppressed nations, peoples and classes against capitalist modernity. Therefore, the Rojava Revolution is the most valuable position of democratic civilisation against capitalist civilisation. The success in Rojava has a character that can spread wave by wave and influence the whole Middle East and even the world. This is what the forces of capitalist civilisation fear the most.  First, they wanted to destroy the revolution by using an organization like ISIS and planning to commit genocide against our people. It was the genocidal forces in the person of ISIS that were defeated by the glorious resistance of our honourable people."

 

In the statement, it was pointed out that the war is not a Kurdish-Turkish war, but a war between the forces that want a free life and the colonialist forces.

 

"The day is the day of unity, resistance, protecting the revolution and protecting the freedom philosophy of Leader Apo."

In the continuation of the statement, the following read: "As PKK and PAJK prisoners, we are ready to do our best for our honourable people today as we always have. If we did our part in the Kobanê resistance, no one should doubt that we will do the same today. As prisoners, we invite especially our families of the resistance fighters, young people who are the bouncers of Leader Apo and our patriotic people to embrace the Rojava Revolution; to make every place we are in a place of resistance and to increase the serhildans (resistance in Kurdish). Once again, we salute everyone fighting to protect the Rojava Revolution and curse the colonialist occupying forces."
