Zenubiya Women's Community made a statement on the massacre of Alevis on the Syrian coast and demanded that the perpatrators of the massacre be tried.
Speaking at the final rally in Wan, Pervin Buldan, member of the İmralı delegation, said, "Mr Öcalan sent special greetings to our peace mothers and the people of Wan. He said 'I respect the will that made 14 in 14'."
During the 8 March rally held in Wan, Abdullah Öcalan's message to women was read and many posters of him were unfurled in the area.
The new issue of Jin magazine met with the readers with the headline "We Revolt against the Crime of Women and March to Freedom".
Stating that they will continue their struggle until the process succeeds women said, "Abdullah Öcalan must be physically free as soon as possible."
Stating that they are behind Abdullah Öcalan's call, Peace Mothers emphasised that for a lasting solution and peace, Abdullah Öcalan and the prisoners must first be released from prison.
Yıldız Bahçeci, the sister of Gulan, who lost her life in the ranks of the PKK, said of Abdullah Öcalan's call, “Everyone should trust him. The next century will be the century of freedom.”
In his message to women on 8 March, Abdullah Öcalan said, "My basic principle is a fascinating life with you. I celebrate 8 March International Working Women's Day."
Sharing their March 8 messages from 8 countries, women stated that Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's paradigm offers a solution to the problems all over the world and said, "Let 8 March have only one slogan; jin jiyan azadî"
Stating that Rosa Luxemburg's vision of social revolution and the democratic autonomy model in North and East Syria have common points, Lama Ghandour from the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation said, "Rosa's principles of solidarity, equality and freedom shine in the Rojava revolution."
Women went on a work stoppage in Izmir, Ankara, Istanbul and Eskisehir and organized statements and events in many cities on March 8.
Women journalists, who talked about the difficulties in the media in the four parts of Kurdistan, stated that they are proud to convey the truth despite all pressures and difficulties.
Sharing Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's message to women, Tulay Hatimogullari said, "Mr Öcalan made it clear that the basic code of the new era is the struggle for democratisation. The revolutionary subject of the struggle for democratisation is women."
Evaulating Abdullah Öcalan's "Call for Peace and Democratic Society", women said that they want to take part equally in the negotiation process.
