URFA - Demanding justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for months, the Şenyaşar family said, "The members of the judiciary who act in accordance with the orders of the government, you will be the ones to be blamed at the end."

 

The sit in Şenyaşar family refers to as the 'Justice Watch' started by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded is on its 156th day today. Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the court house early in the morning and started the sit in for the day while Emine Şenyaşar could not attend the sit in due to her health issues. 

 

Şenyaşar hung photos of Hacı Esvet Şenyar, his father, and brothers Adil and Celal Şenyaşar who were killed as a result of the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız along with a banner that reads, "A father and his two sons were slaughtered at the Suruç State Hospital on 14.07.2018. No one has been prosecuted so far. Justice for everyone!"

 

'THE MASSACRE CAN NOT BE IGNORED'

 

Ferit Şenyaşar said that his mother's health problems were getting worse and they were worried. Şenyaşar, repeating his demand for justice, said, "The deputy of the ruling party committed a massacre in front of the world's eyes inside the hospital. There is no prosecutor to file a law suit against him because he is from the Justice and Development Party (AKP). All doors were shut to out face. The Minister of Justice can not just keep on ignoring this issue. Everyone knows that the relatives of the AKP MP committed this crime. Some MPs of the AKP also spoke to us and condemned the murders. We don't see how these MPs will face the people and expect them to vote for them when a family has been staging a sit in for 156 days. We want this tyranny to end ASAP."

 

'YOU WILL BE THE ONES TO BE BLAMED'

 

On their Twitter account, the family wrote the following, "Those elected will expire one day. The members of the judiciary who act in accordance with the orders of the government, you will be the ones to be blamed at the end. An elected MP and his family carried out a massacre in the Suruç State Hospital. The people of the world and the people of of Urfa knows that."
