BATMAN - Family of Ayhan Tatlı, one of the three HPG members dissappeared in Federated Kurdistan, went to Hewlér to find him, however KDP Public Security told that they had no knowladge on his whereabouts.

 

There are no news from HPG members Erdal Aslan (Serwer Serhat), Ayhan Tatlı (Wargeş Çavreş) and Mahmut Xelef (Dijwar Berxwedan) from North and East Syria who were detained by the KDP on July 26 for the last 18 days. Despite the calls made, KDP did not make any statements on their whereabouts.

 

FAMILY WENT TO HEWLÊR

 

Family of Ayhan Tatlı who went to Hewlée to find their son have not obtained any information on his wherebout despite the fact that he knocked on every door possible.

 

The family learned that their relative Gulgeş Tatlı from YJA-Star was wounded in an armed clash in Hakkari on July 26th and taken to Hakkari State Hospital for treatment and then she was arrested before her treatement was completed and sent to Hakkari Prison on August 11.

 

Sister of Ayhan Tatlı spoke to Mesopotamia Agency (MA) regarding her brother.

 

WE HAVE BEEN PERSECUTED FOR YEARS

 

Stating that they had to settle in Batman 20 years ago from the İdil (Hezex) district of Şırnak,  Hasibe Tatlı said they were subjected to state oppression for years, most of their family was arrasted and held in prison for years. Tatlı said: "One of my brothers were arrested. My brother Ayhan and my sister joined the guerilla. Ayhan used to be a shepherd before he went. We haven't heard from my brother and his friends for 18 days now. We want him back. Dead or alive."

 

'WE DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS'

 

Stating that her uncle went to Hewlér on August 7 but he only recieved an answer from the authorities that they did not know where Tatlı is, Hasibe Tatlı said: " When my uncle insisted that they knew, they told him he was wounded and and they will let the family know when his treatment is completed. We want him back. Enough is enough."

 

REACTION AGAINST THE KDP: 

 

Tatlı said: "We thought Mesut Barzani was our brother. But he is acting with the Turkish government and acts like an enemy. We don't want my brother and his friends to be surrendered to Turkey. My brother is held by the KDP and my niece is held by Turkey. We will never give up our struggle. Not even if we die."
