ERZİNCAN - Political prisoners in Erzincan Type T Closed Prison were given a one-month communcation ban for making pickles.

 

It was stated that a one-month communication penalty was given to the political prisoners on the grounds that pickles were found during a search of a ward in Erzincan Type T Closed Prison. According to the information given by the prisoners to their families, the guards searched their ward on August 29 and found 13 jars of pickles made by the prisoners. The prison administration, which confiscated the pickles banned all communication for a month for producing medicine of stockpiling food in prison.

 

OFFICE OF JUDGE OF EXECUTION UPHELD THE PUNISHMENT

 

The prisoners applied to the Office of Judge of Execution against the decision, however the Office of Judge of Execution upheld the punishment, stating that the punishment was appropriate and eject the applications of the prisoners for the annulment of the disciplinary punishment.

 

Prisoners will apply to the Erzincan 1st High Criminal Court against the decision of the Execution Directorate.
