ANKARA - The court was informed that although the perpetrator of both the Suruç Massacre and the October 10 Train Station Massacre, İlhami Bali was treated at Cihanbeyli State Hospital, it was reflected in the National Health System records that no hospital records could be found.

 

A new development occured in the case file for the Ankara Train Station Massacre , in which 104 people were killed by an ISIS suicide bomber on the 7th year of the massacre. 

 

In the statement that underlines there is a  new development regarding Ilhami Bali, one of the perpetrators of both the 10 October Gar Massacre and Suruç Massacre, it was emphasized that the Suruç case file had conflicting information about Bali. According to the records of the National Health System, the Urfa Provincial Health Directorate gave information that İlhami Balı was treated in the Internal Medicine Intensive Care Service of Cihanbeyli State Hospital in 2016, while the Cihanbeyli State Hospital, where the same computer automation system was used, denied this information. The letter sent to the case file at Cihanbeyli State Hospital also stated that "he was not treated in their hospital in 2016".

 

The different answers from the two hospitals of the Ministry of Health, which operates under the same computer system, once again revealed how the massacre was carried out within the knowladge of the state that ignored all information.

 

In the statement made by the Justice for Suruç Platform, the following statements were made: “It has been exactly 7 years since the October 10 Ankara massacre, one of the biggest mass murders in the country. While the lawsuits regarding the massacre continue in these seven years, the chain of massacres that took place in 2015 has been and continues to be discussed a lot in public.

 

MINISTRY OF HEALTH MUST MAKE AN EXPLAINATION REGARDING THE CONTRADICTIONS

 

The statement continued as follows: "Every time critical evidence was reached, contradictions came into play. As it will be remembered from our previous statements, it was understood that some of the camera recordings were deleted in the Suruç massacre case file. Now, there is contradictory information regarding if the hospital records that one of the fugitive suspects, İlhami Balı, who was treated in 2016, was actually treated there. While Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Directorate gives the information that İlhami Balı was treated in Cihanbeyli State Hospital Internal Medicine ICU in 2016, Cihanbeyli State Hopsital, operating from the same computer automation system and both affiliated to Ministry of Health, says he wasn't. These are contradictory statements.  The meaning of the contradiction between this information obtained from the same computer system of the Ministry of Health should be explained immediately, and those responsible should be identified. We call on the Ministry of Health to immediately provide an explanation for this contradiction.
