ANKARA - The indictment against TTB Chairperson Şebnem Korur Fincancı was accepted.
The indictment prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Şebnem Korur Fincancı, President of the Central Council of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), was accepted by the Istanbul 24th High Criminal Court. Fincancı, who was arrested on October 27 due to Turkey's assessments on chemical weapons attacks, is charged with "making propaganda for a terrorist organization".
The first hearing of the case will be held on December 23.
