HATAY - A citizen who participated in HaberTürk's live broadcast from the wreckage area condemned AKP President Erdoğan's claim that "AFAD has arrived" and said: "They are lying, they took a picture and left".

 

Although 32 hours have passed since the earthquake in Kurdistan, where the severe earthquake caused great destruction, search and rescue efforts have not yet been started in many debris. Millions spent the night on the streets in the earthquake zone, where tents and food aid were not provided.

 

While 3 thousand 381 people lost their lives in the cities turned into rubble, thousands of people are waiting to be rescued under the rubble. Unable to manage the crisis, the AKP is trying to create a perception with the media under its control.

 

HaberTürk, which made a live broadcast connection in the wreckage area in Hatay, where the earthquake caused destruction, faced the reaction of the citizens. The victims of the earthquake, to whom the Show TV reporter held out a microphone, stated that no one came to help, even the police and gendarmerie did not come to the region, and that the people were trying to overcome the disaster with their own efforts.

 

The reporter asked: “Did the aid arrive?” Another citizen asked, "Erdogan says 'AFAD has arriaved'. Where is it? Nobody interferes the wreckage area. They lie. They came in the evening, took a picture and left."
