The Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party) continues its election activities in many cities.

 

The Green Left Party held a women's meeting in the Elkê (Beytüşşebap) district of Şırnak. Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP Nuran Imir, Green Left Party Şırnak MP candidates Ayşegül Doğan, Newroz Uysal and hundreds of women attended the meeting held in Elkê district square.

 

The women walking from the entrance of the city to the event area in their local clothes often shouted "Jin, jiyan, azadi".

 

'SOLUTION IMRALI'

 

Green Left Party MP candidate Ayşegül Doğan, who spoke at the women's meeting, emphasized the isolation of İmralı and said: "I know that you are all ready for the elections to be held on May 14. Do you know why this election is so important to us? Because we are looking for a solution. We want our identity. Öcalan is the key to the solution. The doors of Imrali need to be opened. We have a promise to you, we will bring the solution. The culture and identity of the Kurds must now be accepted. Those who accept these are welcome, but our reaction is clear to those who do not accept them."

 

'WE DO NOT ACCEPT DIRTY POLITICS'

 

Stating that women are actors in the change process, Green Left Party MP candidate Newroz Uysal said: "While the government is going to disappear, it continues its attacks. Both alliances formed today carry out their policies through Mr. Öcalan. There has been no news from İmralı for 2 years. In the person of Mr. Öcalan. We do not accept this dirty policy being carried out. They also know that Öcalan has the solution to the problems of the Kurdish people. We will spoil their game. We are the power, we have the chance." 

 

'WE WILL DEFEND DEMOCRATIC POLITICS'

 

Stating that the Kurdish people will give a clear answer on May 14, HDP Şırnak MP Nuran İmir said: "Those who ignore the will of the Kurdish people are about to leave. Kurdish women and Kurdish youth will dissolve your reign. After this election, we will be in the politics of the new century. We will always be against politics. We will defend democratic politics.”
