ANKARA - After the meeting of DTK, HDK, DBP, Green Left Party and HDP, the statement was made, "We will thoroughly evaluate the picture that has emerged with our components, institutional structures and people. We will carry our struggle further by drawing the necessary conclusions."

 

Co-Chairs and Co-Spokespersons of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK), Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) met to discuss the election results and to determine the term roadmap.

 

After the meeting held at HDP Headquarters, a written statement was made. In the statement, it was stated that the election results and the work to be done for the upcoming period were discussed. The items in the statement are as follows:

 

"* We have all experienced and are living through a tough and hard period of struggle against the Plan to Collapse the Kurdish Political Movement. The clearest response to the continuous coup policies that were put into effect in the face of the Kurdish people's insistence on freedom was given in Kurdistan in the May 14 and May 28 elections.It bows respectfully before the epic resistance of the Kurdish people, who insist on their stance of freedom in the face of the state's denial/annihilation policies, especially during the election process, and their attitude reflected in the ballot box against the oppressive government; We reiterate our promise that we will make effective and fruitful comradeship towards this determined stance in the upcoming period.

 

* Likewise, we salute the attitude of the peoples of Turkey in the face of the fascist government, which uses all kinds of conspiracy, deception, lies and disinformation and uses all the possibilities of the state. The fact that one of the two people in the society did not consent to the Palace regime is the reason for us to increase the democratic-revolutionary social struggle in the new period.

 

* As of the election results, we are below our target success and we accept this situation. However, we call out once again to those who think that the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom and the democracy of the Turkish people has weakened through ballot box mathematics: We have always existed politically and have been hope for the oppressed. In the new period of struggle, our organizational, political and social destiny-defining role will continue. Those who state that they act with the "state mind" know this role the most. We will stubbornly and persistently enlarge our role in the struggle for democracy and we will be the pioneer of a stronger freedom movement.

 

* To the great values of our struggle for democracy and freedom; We repeat our promise of victory to all our friends and comrades who are in prison, in exile, in every field and stage of the struggle, who pay the price and who work hard.

 

* In the coming days, we will thoroughly evaluate the picture that has emerged with our components, our corporate structures and our people, without being demoralized, intimidated and without giving any credit to any perception operation. No one should have any doubt that we will carry our struggle forward without taking a step back against this regime, which is labor, peace, democracy, freedom, nature, youth and misogyny, by drawing the necessary results.

 

Victory will belong to the peoples who resist fascism!”
