NEWS CENTER – AKP Chair and President Tayyip Erdoğan stated in his statement after his meeting with Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi that they signed 10 new agreements.
The meeting of the AKP Chair and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi at the Presidential Complex, ended. Following the meeting, the signing ceremony of the agreements and a joint press conference were held.
10 NEW AGREEMENTS
Speaking at the meeting, Erdoğan stated that they exchanged views on many issues besides Israeli attacks. Erdoğan said: “We have made progress in terms of the 30 billion dollar trade target. We are aware that we need to run faster in this lane. We signed 10 new agreements."
The agreements signed are as follows:
“*Operation Agreement Between Turkey Electricity Transmission Inc. (TEİAŞ) and Iran Grid Management Company (IGMC)
* Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Free Zones between the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey and the Supreme Council of Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones of the Islamic Republic of Iran
* Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Media and Communication between the Presidential Directorate of Communications of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran
* Framework Agreement on Railway Transport between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Roads and Urbanization of the Islamic Republic of Iran
* Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific, Industrial and Technological Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and the Vice President of Science and Technology of Iran
*Declaration of Intent for Cooperation Between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the Year of Mutual Culture 2025
*Memorandum of Understanding between the Police Academy of the Republic of Turkey and Amin Police University of the Islamic Republic of Iran
*Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Mutual Recognition and Exchange of National Driver's Licenses
