People of Wan start cleaning the city

WAN - Citizens who won by resisting the usurpation of will in Wan started to clean the streets of the city in the morning.

The resistance that started after Abdullah Zeydan, who was elected as the Co-Mayor of Wan Metropolitan Municipality from the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), was not given his certificate of election, yielded results yesterday. After the certificate of election was given, a magnificent celebration was held in the city with the participation of hundreds of thousands of people.

Due to the events that took place for two days, garbage began to accumulate in many parts of the city. In many places, only stones, poles and billboards remained from the barricades. City residents started cleaning the streets and avenues today.

'WE DO NOT WANT A TRUSTEE'

Mesut Gül, one of the tradesmen doing the cleaning, said: "We demolished it and we will clean it. As tradesmen, we have closed our shutters for two days to react to the usurpation of our will. Today, we are cleaning our streets. We are very happy with the result of this resistance. From now on, we will treat those who try to usurp our will in this way. We will treat the trustee mentality in this way. We don't want it in our city."

Tradesman Ahmet Sen said: "We are cleaning for our party. We are trying to help our people and our party. We now have the municipality and we will pay more attention to keeping this city clean. We have kept our workplaces closed for two days to support the resistance of our people. We are currently cleaning. We are very proud of the resistance of our people and the stance of our party."

'WE WILL PROTECT OUR WILL'

Another tradesman, Simar Işık, who emphasized that they will always protect their will, said: “Since the municipality is ours, we demolished it ourselves and clean it ourselves. We are very happy right now. Everything is for a free country and homeland."
