ISTANBUL- DEM Esenyurt District Co-Chairs Rojda Yılmaz and Abdullah Arınan were detained at the police station where they went to testify.
Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Esenyurt District Organization building was raided by the police in the morning. After the search, DEM Party Esenyurt District Co-Chairs Rojda Yılmaz and Abdullah Arınan were called to Istanbul Provincial Security Directorate for statement procedures.
It is learned that DEM Party Esenyurt district Co-chairs Rojda Yılmaz and Abdullah Arınan were summoned to Istanbul Provincial Security Directorate in Fatih and were detained at the police station. It is also learned that police officers went to the houses of both co-chairs and conducted searches around 15.30pm. It is stated that co-chairs are restricted from seeing their lawyers for 24 hours.
