NEWS CENTRE - Attacks on North & East Syria were protested in many cities. Peace Mothers' Assembly, DEM Party and civil society organisations called on everyone take responsibility to stop the attacks. 

 

Peace Mothers's Assembly, Peoples's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), Human Rights Association (İHD) branches and many civil society organisations protested the attacks of Turkey and its paramilitary groups against North & East Syria and Alleppo with statements in many cities. "Bi rihê Kobanê emê Rojava biparêzin / We will defend Rojava with the spirit of Kobanê" banner was unfurled in the statements. "Em shar nexwazin, aşitiye dixwazin/We want peace, not war" slogan was chanted.

 

In the statements made in Amed (Diyarbakır), Êlih (Batman), Şirnex (Şırnak), Cizîr (Cizre), Mêrdîn (Mardin), Wan (Van), Gever (Yüksekova), Agirî (Ağrı), İzmir, Sêrt (Siirt) and Ankara, it was emphasised that the attacks were against the peoples and everyone must take responsibility against the attacks.
