NEWS CENTER - Hundreds of people from Girke Lege, North and Syria organised a march demanding the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.
Hundreds of people from Girke Lege, Til Kocher, Cilakha and Rimelan in North and East Syria gathered at Mrtyr Xebat Square in Girke Lege to speak up for the physical freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. People carrying Öcalan's posters marched towards the city bazaar with the slogans "Bê Serok Jiyan Nabe (Without Leader there is no life)" and "Bijî Berxwedana Îmraliyê (Long live resistance of İmralı)".
After the march, Delal Sibli, member of Kongra Star Til Kocher administration, stated that Abdullah Öcalan fought for the freedom of all peoples and said, "We will never give up demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan."
Akif Sebri, Co-chair of Girke lege City Assembly, said that their goal is the physical freedom of Öcalan and that they will continue to struggle for the realisation of this goal.
Drawing attention to the "Call for Peace and Democratic Society", Akif Sebri stated that Kurds are united with this call. The demonstration ended with the slogans "Bê serok jiyan nabe".
