NEWS CENTER - The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the Damascus interim government came together for the implementation of the signed agreement.
A delegation from the Autonomous Administration for North and East Syria met with regime officials in Damascus as part of steps to implement the agreement signed on 10 March between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Damascus government.
According to the statement made by the co-spokespersons of the delegation, the first meeting started with the parties recognising each other. Then, negotiations were held on a joint work plan and feasible mechanisms for the implementation of the articles of the agreement in the field.
On 12 April, the North and East Syria delegation formed for the negotiation process includes the following names from different ethnic and political components:
* Foza Yûsif - Member of the PYD Presidency Council
* Abid Hamid al-Mihbash - Co-chair of the Future of Syria Party
* Senherîb Bersûm - Co-chair of the Syriac Unity Party
* Ehmed Yûsif - Co-chair of the Autonomous Administration Finance Council
* Sozdar Hecî - YPJ General Command Member
* Maryam Îbrahîm - Co-chair of the Council for Social Studies
* Yasir Silêman - Co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Assembly
Damascus was represented by officials from various ministries and administrative units:
* Mohammed Kanatri (Deputy Head of the US Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
* Abdulghani Mohammed (Director of Internal Security in Aleppo Governorate)
* Mesud Battal (Head of Afrin File)
* Fewaz Al-Ayish (Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs at the Ministry of Interior)
