Şen who is on hunger strike continues hunger strike at home

MARDİN- Şen who started a hunger strike on January 5 in Mardin Type E Closed Prison, now continues the hunger strike at his home after his release. Şen stated that the hunger strike action is against the isolation imposed on the peoples.Şen was arrested in 2006 with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegal organization.

Şen who is on the 109th day of his hunger strike, has difficulty speaking, has kidney and joint pains and amnesia.
 
Şen said: "However hard the physical conditions are hard for our friends in prisons, they are determined and their morale is high. They are determined that they will break the isolation on our leader. I too am having physical difficulties but I am feeling motivated. Being away from them is hard but I know our hearts are at the same place."
 
 
Şen stated that everyone has a role to play in ending the isolation and that they should play their role.
 
Şen who stated that he wants to end the hunger strike with his friends he first started with, said: "I am out here and they are there. That Doesn't matter. Kürdistan have become a prison itself. Isolation is not limited with İmralı. The people of Turkey and the Kurdish people are isolated. We started this hunger strike to stop this. "
 
Şen called on to the Ministry of Justice and CPT and EU to fulfill their responsibilities.
