HAKKARİ - K.O whom the Hakkari Governership stated to be one of the perpetrators of the explosion in Güvenpark, Ankara; was released without taking any statements.

 

K.O who was mentioned in the press to be a terrorist of PKK who provided the explosives of the bomb used to kill 38 people in Güvenpark, Ankara after the statement of Hakkari Governership, was released. Ramazan Kurt, attorney of K.O who was taken under custody in Yüksekova and referred to court in Ankara  yesterday and released after that, said K.O was taken under custody in a wedding ceremony of one of his relatives.

 

Attorney Kurt said: " My client was detained during the wedding of his relative in Yüksekova, he was brought to Ankara on the instruction of the prosecutor's office and he was referred to the prosecutor's office yesterday morning after his testimony and released. The prosecution did not even resort to my client's testimony. K.O. who was detained by Hakkari Governorate as the person who provided the explosive used in the Ankara Güvenpark explosion was released due to lack of involvement in the incident. My client K.O was acquitted from the charges and was targeted by the national press."
